Family: My lovely wife of 20 years, Loraine Ann, and I are the parents of three godly children, Caton (16), Gail (14) and Hope (12). I met my wife at a lock-in on Valentine's Day and we were married 4 months later. We were both 27 and born 3 days apart--she is the older woman!

Ministry Calling: I am called to work with students until I meet Jesus face to face. I love seeing Christ change students into His image. I just want to love, reach, encourage and equip students!

What I Enjoy About Serving at Brook Hills: Freedom to serve and minister in the power of the Holy Spirit through the spiritual gifts that jesus has empowered me with. I get to minister to the best, brightest, ministry-minded teenagers in the world.

Interesting and Unusual Facts: Never met a Christian for the first 22 years of my life. I was raised in Chicago. I lived in Chicago, Houston, Dallas, San Diego, Memphis and now Birmingham. Brook Hills is only the third church I have served in 25 years.

My Relationship with Christ: The first Christian I met was a new convert named "Hobo" Mott. He was a former member of a motorcycle club and owner of Hobo's Hoghouse in Houston, Texas. Three weeks after I met Hobo a young lady introduced me to Jesus in the middle of the east Texas Piney Woods, camping on my "Road to Nacaodoches" experience! I received Christ on May 29 at 12:55 a.m.

Favorite Musical Group or Artist: Anything but opera

Favorite Sports Team: Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs

Favorite Thing to Do on a Saturday: Ride one of my Harleys
