Global Disciple-Making Objectives
Do you long to be a part of something earth-shattering? Something bigger than yourself, your city, your life? God commands every Christ-follower to that amazing, global mission! The Global Disciple-Making Ministry at Brook Hills is surrendered to "making disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19-20). To have world impact we will attempt:

  • To raise the awareness that each member should take full responsibility to impact their world with their one and only life, using the process of Jesus in disciple making.
  • To provide a practical strategy for the church that will create a global people movement in all nations.
  • To train our members to understand true multiplication ministry.
  • To create a reproductive curriculum in all languages to ensure qualitative reproduction.

This is God's plan for reaching the nations with the mesage of reception, and this method of reproduction is the biblical strategy for carrying out His objectives. We intentionally nagivate our members toward spiritual reproduction by using the following comprehensive curriculum approach:

Information
Instead of depending on one Sunday a year at a Mission Conference we use tools to refresh our Faith Family's global vision each week. We expose our members to world information in creative ways (like a monthly DVD that focuses in on a specific country). Each point of information is intentionally given to shape and direct the vision of the recipient.

"And seeing the multitudes, He felt compassion for them..."
Matthew 9:36

Intercession
A Faith Family that is informed is a membership that majors on strategic intercessory prayer. As we pray for the world, God transforms our hearts and we are consumed with the desire to see that world reached for Christ. As a result we desire what God desires--to express to the world in tangible ways that we love them, Christ loves them and Jesus desires a relationship with them.

Our Prayer:
"Lord, give us the nations,
and do it in such a way that
only You get the glory."

Involvement
The Global Disciple-Making Ministry mobilizes members of our Faith Family to be involved in a short-term mission. Through these efforts, each member takes on others to disciple and invest in. We use this involvement as "on the job training" and a true external expression of our love for the world. This develops and trains leaders who can join us in the disciple making process--creating disciple-makers. Mission efforts are focused on each team member's strengths to increase our spiritual success in the field.

Investment
We filter investments to other partners and we expect our investments to increase as a result of other areas expanding. Funds are negotiated to compassionately invest in people. We focus our funds and lives outward to create a more solid base for vocational service to the world. We maximize our giving--where we are going, where we are planning to go and where we cannot go.

Realizing Fruit
Without a plan there is no impact. Through this plan, fruit (results) will come. International bases are created to launch out simultaneously, through “The Decade of Disciple-Making”, fulfilling Acts 1:8. Much fruit pleases God and this is our objective. His plan results in world impact!

And Finally...
Our role in relation to other ministries within The Church at Brook Hills is to be the external expression of love toward the world in direct proportion as the intended biblical truths proclaimed inside our four walls. As the solid biblical doctrine of God's Word is placed and plated in our lives, then it will compassionately be expressed to all nations.

Operation World
Here's a fantastic prayer resource that's available to you. Operation World is a comprehensive informational guide to the nations of the world, including strategic intercession for each day. You'll not only learn about the nations and people of the world, but how to "stand in the gap" as you lift them up in prayer to God daily.
